  • Nate Lewis, Software Engineer

“Morganne is an absolute joy to have on your team and her eye for design is amazing. Her designs are beautiful and practical. She has an overwhelmingly positive attitude and approach to work. As a software engineer, I'd love nothing more than to work with Morganne again in the future.”

  • Shahbano Imran, Senior Product Designer

“Morganne is an impressive designer with exceptional communication/collaboration skills. She produces really high-quality work and has a broad skill set, and I’ve been lucky to get to work with her!”

  • David Woody, CEO Differential Dev Shop

“I had the opportunity to work with Morganne directly since she first started working at Differential. Prior to Differential, she was new to product design, given her previous experience in packaging and brand design. However, she was able to train under some of the best product designers at Differential, and she absorbed and applied so much during her time at Differential. For example, she had limited experience with Figma before Differential, and now she’s a Figma ninja, always geeking out about learning new cool things about the design platform and how to leverage it through the entire design process. She’s also gotten tons of experience collaborating directly with software engineers. She can easily adapt to various constraints or concerns to come up with alternative solutions and adapt quickly to implementation problems as they arise. She’s easy to work with and always brings multiple ideas and options to the table when trying to solve a user experience problem. At Differential, she worked on product design for mobile applications that served tens of thousands of daily active users. She’s a positive energy that breathes life into any team she’s on.”

  • Chris Ames, Innovation & Leadership at Differential

“Morganne is a multi-talented designer with strong skills in both visual and product design, but her greatest attribute was her presence on the team. In addition to delivering great design for our clients, she brought her radiant positivity. Some people are simply a joy to be around and Morganne is one such person.”

  • Sean McCosh, Managing Partner at Differential

“I've had the privilege and the opportunity to work with Morganne at Differential and have always been super impressed with her positive outlook, her willingness to take on new challenges, and her overall "design chops". She learns quickly, is easy to work with, and has an incredible future ahead of her in digital design. If you ever get a chance to work with Morganne, consider yourself lucky. She brings light and levity to the teams she works on and creates beautiful things that move brands forward.”

A little about me.

Denver, Colorado, is where I currently call home, and I couldn't be happier. It's hard to believe that I've come to enjoy city life, having grown up in Niwot, a small town just outside of Boulder, and being a person who loves gardening and being outdoors.

During college, I had the opportunity to serve as the Design and Marketing Intern with a local start-up company, Bus to Show. The company aims to prevent impaired driving incidents after concerts by providing safe transportation to and from the venue. Here, I was responsible for creating all of the graphics (both web and print) and marketing materials needed.

After earning my Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication, with a focus on Design, from CU Boulder, I've been fully immersed in the world of design ever since. My first gig out of college was as an Associate Brand Designer for Native Roots' Marketing team, an experience that exposed me to the unique challenges of designing for the cannabis industry. Here, I created three different brands for new products that would be sold in stores soon. I also created any marketing materials needed was SWAG or internal uses.

My experience at Native Roots led to a Graphic Designer position at Nite Ize, an outdoors company in Boulder, Colorado. Here, I gained valuable experience in various aspects of design, such as packaging, tradeshow graphics, social media, and in-house design needs, as well as developing marketing campaigns.

My previous role was as a full-time remote UX & UI Product Designer for a Cincinnati-based design and development agency called Differential. As the lead product designer on my team, I collaborated closely with my product manager to shape our products and with the developers to build them out. This role gave me the opportunity to explore diverse design areas, including branding identity, wireframing, mind mapping, UI & UX design, research, and more.

I’m currently looking for my next design role. If you’re interested in learning more about my design process, let’s connect!

Programs I use.

As a product designer, I currently use and am most confident with Figma. That said, I began my passion for design in Adobe Creative Suite, and I will always feel comfortable navigating that software.
